Stephen Lackaye is from Poughkeepsie, New York. He has degrees from the University of Southern California, the University of Edinburgh, and the Johns Hopkins University. He lives in Oregon with his wife and daughter, and works for Powell’s Books.
Stephen’s poetry has appeared in numerous journals in print and online. His work has been honored with multiple nominations for the Pushcart Prize and Best New Poets. He’s been a finalist for Best of the Net, and was the recipient, in 2007, of a New Writer’s Award from the Scottish Arts Council.
His first full-length collection, Self-Portrait in Dystopian Landscape, won the 2015 Unicorn Press First Book Prize. It will be available 15 November 2016.
